National Post: My comment on Psychic predicts assassination of Obama in 2010 :(

http://network.nationalpost.com/np/blogs/posted/archive/2009/12/29/psychic-predicts-assassination-of-obama-in-2010.aspx?

*sigh*

It’s unfortunate that these Negative and Deathly predictions have been posted to such a reputable paper.

As a professional psychic, I am often under the (rightfully so) questionable eyes and ears of people and it’s, in part, due to this type of negative media exposure.

In the past, I have been asked by reporters to do a piece on predictions and because my predictions are in large part — POSITIVE — I don’t get printed and they move on to something more sensational.

What is wrong with this world? This reporter or their editor would not have run this article if it wasn’t going to get the interest of the papers’ readership!

Now, in regards to predictions… Just because I’m a psychic, it doesn’t mean my “only” value is as a predictor or forecaster. In fact, I’m often not very good at “general world” predictions anyway. “What?!”, you say?

Yes, I can be a very good psychic and not do very well at general predictions. “Well isn’t that your job my dear lady?” Not quite. My value is in seeing the past, the present, and the possibilities of the future. My value is in giving insights, reporting on my observations that are so plain to me but not often to others, support, care, and common sense advice. It’s also in the ability to listen deeply and to pull positive solutions from my right brain (the universe) to help another have more positive futures.

My focus is on the freewill of the seeker. If they don’t like what I see, they can change it with often an incredible amount of hard work. But it doesn’t take a psychic to predict that a lot of people don’t like working for what they want or need and that if you keep doing what you have already done, you are going to get more of the same.

Plainly, people have a hard time doing what’s good for them and they will often use a psychic as a scapegoat to explain away the bad things that happen/ed to them. This is a hazzard of my job and a money break for unethical psychics praying on the vulnerable. I say: Let’s put these kinds of psychics out of business. Go to a Crisis center or work with a licensed professional when in a seriously emotional state.

By the way, my service preferences as a psychic are Psychic Life Coaching, Past Life Recall, Personality Profiling, and Fun Paranormal Games that we play at Club Jucy!! 🙂

What I’m getting at, is that not all psychics are the same, as much as the general public would like to clump us in all together: http://www.knowtheway.ca/readings/types-of-psychic-readings.html

And like the weather or a sports forecast, a psychic prediction can have a way of not coming true if it is willed and sometimes that’s a very good thing. Positive protective vibes wrapping around Obama — Long Live Obama!!

Heh, if skeptics want to try me out on my FREE reading days — just sign up to my Free Psychic Reading Days newsletter so I can alert you of my last minute freebies and give me a go. Please do not clump all psychics together. We, as you, are unique individuals.

Psychic Life Coaching

Receive eight 30 minute sessions twice a month for $50 each.  First session is $45 for 45 minutes.

A Psychic Life Coach uses the skills of a psychic and a coach.  Coaches are cheerleaders and they help fine tune your natural skills and talents, they help you reach your goals by getting a firm understanding of what it is you want and what is blocking you. Coaches ask powerful thought-provoking questions while Psychics have been known not to (they already know, people say!).  Psychics wipe a foggy window clear so that you can see what is inside. They tell you about what was, is, and will be based on historical trends and what is currently happening.  The basic job of a Psychic is to tell, to tell the story of your life.  In combination with story telling, some psychics give advice (Psychic Consultant), others heal (Psychic Healer), and others teach (Psychic Teacher), a Psychic Coach asks.

  • Find, set, and meet goals
  • Overcome blockages
  • Get powerful insights
  • Feel better
  • Connect with someone who cares
  • Be the star that I know you are!

A Psychic Life Coach is a powerful tool in your box of strategies and well-being because they honour and respect that which you desire and they genuinely want to help you get what you want through your own hard work.  Psychic insights, powerful questions, and and your own homework will help you get there.

A session can begin with setting a goal around anything small or big in the areas of money, career, relationships, family, education, health, etc.  Once we set a goal, we will figure out what blockages there are, your successes and challenges.  I will also psychically take a look at what happened, what is happening, and what will happen based on current and historical trends. Then I will ask you what you want.  We will then devise a plan together to meet your goal.  Another session may focus on challenges that have occurred to meeting your goals.  Each session is productive and thought provoking and sends you off with some homework in the way of exercises, resources to research, to-do’s, etc.  If you are busy, not to worry.  We will work at your pace and you will set your own deadline and timeframes; however, you may be encouraged to speed up or slow down.

Learn about:

  • money, career, relationships, family, education, health, etc.
  • what happened, what is happening, and what will happen
  • yourself and your environment more deeply.

Subscribe below for eight 30 minute sessions twice a month for $50 each.  First session is $25.  After the first reduced session fee, you are welcome to cancel your subscription if you find that session unproductive. Session will be booked within one week of the last session or payment.  Psychic Life Coaching, as with most of my private sessions, are by phone.  Long distance charges are not included in fees.

Lily Dale Assembly: A Spiritual Retreat & Playground

Monday, August 3rd, 2009

Greetings Seeker,

Have you finished your summer fun in the sun yet?

Lily Dale Assembly is a magical place my husband and I visited in the past. It is located near Niagara Falls, specifically in Lily Dale, New York. Only about 3 hours from Toronto, it is an inexpensive and accessible retreat for singles, couples, and families.

We are in no way affiliated with this organization.

ABOUT
http://www.lilydaleassembly.com/

For all those who want to get back in touch with nature, spirituality, healing, and innocence — this place is a must. With a nominal daily entrance fee, the compound gates alert you to what awaits: A playground for adults and enlightened children alike.

Lily Dale is a well-organized spiritualist community that invites the general public to partake in all its wonders. Program calendar and workshop information can be found on the site: http://www.lilydaleassembly.com/events-workshops/
And while you can purchase a Visitor’s Guide from the website one, I believe, is free of charge once inside.

ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation, inside the compound, is inexpensive and you can enjoy the old hotels (Maplewood is at the heart of all the action) for $34 to $69 a night, spend your time at Guest Houses on the grounds (many have kitchen facilities) for $45-$75 a night, camp out, or bring your RV ($15-$20 a night, less if you stay the week). If you stay the week, there are substantial savings.

EATING
The first time we went, we stayed at the Maplewood hotel and packed our car with a carton of water and dry food supplies. The second time we went, we stayed at one of the guest houses which had fridge privileges. We brought food from home and also shopped at the local grocery store (off the grounds) which saved on the cost of the trip.

On the visit where we stayed at the hotel we found the restaurants on the grounds unhealthy (maybe things have changed) and the ones off were either very expensive and upscale or fast food types. Maybe you will find otherwise and let us know!!

We did enjoy specialty drinks and treats at the local cafe (Cup-a-Joe) run by a spiritualist where there was an impromptu jam session that happened one evening.

READINGS
With full-time spiritualists, who live on the compound, you can receive paid and/or free readings. Since we couldn’t decide on a spiritualist to see, we took our chance at getting a reading from the open air free forest readings. And we were blessed to receive a few readings from various mediums — what a joy!

MANY THINGS TO DO
There are also numerous workshops, seminars, and classes available to be taken with a bookstore and tuck shop. As well as tours and visits to a fabulous genuine full sized library and museum housing many vintage and antique items.

We urge you to partake in this experience with it’s swimming, boating, sweat lodge, fairy trail, a walk through the well groomed old growth forest paths, energy healing at the church, and other delights if you have an opportunity to do so this summer.

LILY DALE’S HISTORY
Lily Dale was the place to go during Victorian times. In fact, it retains much of that Victorian flavour in its architecture, some say — ghosts, artwork, and learning opportunities!

Travelers from all over the world and time periods have visited Lily Dale. Some of its more prestigious or well known visitors include Houdini (those darn magicians trying to learn how we genuine psychics and mediums do it — ha!ha!); Mae West; Susan B. Anthony, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (detectives, another squirrely lot trying to learn more from psychics about how to sleuth out insights :), Gandhi, and Eleanor Roosevelt.

WHAT’S A GRAIN OF SALT WORTH?
I tell all my clients, take the best and leave the rest. A psychic, medium or any other type of “reading” gives insight and helps you find direction and peace; however, it’s important to take responsibility for any advice that is acted upon and to use your own God given brilliance to make the right decision for you.

A READING WITH ABELLA
Seeking clarity, direction, or a better handle on who you are, your purpose in life, and other mysteries? Want your dreams and hopes to be met with success? Get a reading, psychic coaching, past life recall session, or a life and challenges Ancient Wisdom assessment with me.

Yours in seeking and happiness,
Abella “Jucy” Arthur
