Predictions: Happy New Year For Some

Sunday, January 1st, 2006

Much of the world celebrates on January 1 2006 (Happy New Year)
Chinese New Year is January 29 2006 (Year of the Fire Dog) I’m a Metal Dog
Islamic New Year January 31 2006 (the year 1427)
Persian and Pagan New Year is March 21 2006 (Spring Equinox)
Rosh Hashanah Jewish New Year is Sept 22/23 2006 (starts on the eve of the 22 (6:58 PM) the year 5767 also this date is Autumn Equinox) Though there are thoughts that the new year starts in March — same as Pagan and Persian as Rosh Hashanah is in the 7th month of the Jewish calendar year.

There are probably other “New Years” Celebrations at different times throughout the year — the forementioned were just “top of mind”.

Predictions coming later…. for now… 2005 was a year of risk, change, chaos, and renewal. 2006 is a year full of support, beauty, love, and nurture. For those of us who have suffered throughout 2005, 2006 shall bring you a respite! 🙂 2006 represents love, freedom, togetherness, past for present, social responsiblity, meditation — this is the energy of 6 and 2 but it’s also a year where we find our personal power, ability to manifest wealth, and to get into good health (an 8 year). Many of us will feel more physically grounded so we might open ourselves (our crown chakras) up to a higher spiritual vibration in the next few years.

Be warned, there is a marketing/business component to this. 🙂 I’m not too keen on the “visualize my logo (symbol)” part. Seems a bit “brainwashy” to me but for many it’s just what the doctor ordered and helps them feel *connected* and *peaceful*. So as with anything, take the best and leave the rest! Personally, I would rather stick to the masters and pioneers.

” Chances are you’ll begin noticing the Gratitude symbol everywhere. When you do, it’s a sign that you are on the right track and a signal to tap into Gratitude.” Yup, I saw it in a paperclip the other day. Had I not been told to focus on it (you’ll begin noticing the…), it probably would of never entered my mind. Oh well, it’s like commercials. 🙂

If you want to know more about this “symbol”, do a search on Leonardo Divinci and The Golden Ratio. The Gratitude logo is a play off of the Golden Ratio symbol. 🙂 The logo sort of looks like an “at” symbol too. *curious*

And you will start to see the symbol everywhere because of the visualization excercises. 🙂 In mind, in sight. For example, you see a certain car, shoe, clothing, jewelry that you NEVER or RARELY saw before but then you go and buy something and you see it EVERYWHERE. There is a term for this but I’m not sure of its name — it’s a psychological term.

Edit: 2/8/06
Upon trying to look up what exactly that term is, I found this link. Unfortunately what I did manage to research wasn’t what I’m trying to find… oh well. 🙂 If you know what the term is, please comment. Try also, Languagehat. The term is very similar to coincidence and synchronicity but not exactly the same. It’s also a way for marketers to psychologically assault unknowing observers as they absorb materials and then start focusing on those materials in their everyday life. This, however, is also a good technique when one is trying to manifest dreams to reality! 🙂 There is duality in everything.

Chrismukkah

Chrismahanukwanzakah Greetings/

Happy Chrismukkah!

But anyway, what about Yule? I love that there is an “all-inclusive” name that has sprung up because I really didn’t like that corporates were having an issue with no longer wanting “Christmas” parties so instead of dilluting the party down to “just a party”, everyone can enjoy their celebrations. The only thing is, there are other celebrations during this time of year — like Winter Solsctice and Yule — that has been forgotten. Oh, how we try to be inclusive. 🙂
