What’s your mission? Creating a mission! Having a mission! What’s my purpose in life? Be authentic and live the life you were meant to!

Thursday, December 1st, 2005

Your mission is a simple as this: Giving what you never had, struggled to have, or struggle to have.

Before birth, each child develops their mission until they get to a stage where they can begin fulfilling their mission. For each person, there is a “breaking point” that forces them to realize their mission in life.

Some still have a hard time figuring out what their mission or purpose on earth is, and I have a simple answer and simple work that I can do with you over the phone and in the comfort of your own home.

To start, this is the basic concept: Your mission is to help others have what you didn’t and to minimize their struggle.

So lets say you didn’t get a lot of toys when you grew up. When you are ready to pursue your mission, you might open a toy factory, hand out toys to kids who are in need, become a designer of toys that parents will like so they get bought for their kids, searching for the holy grail of toys… the missions are endless and very personal to the experiences of each individual.

The Many Faces of Astrology: Christine Jette

Saturday, November 26th, 2005

To take astrology one step further, specialized fields of study, called applications, are entire books and web sites unto themselves. Examples of applied astrology include:

Horary Astrology–Casting a chart for the exact time a question is asked. Based on the idea that the positions of the planets at the moment of asking can help answer the question because there is a sympathy between the cosmos and the human mind.

Astro-Psychology–The counseling aspects of astrology used to help with the challenging, or troublesome, areas of life. Much like psychotherapy or psychology. Using astrological information as a tool for psychological insight.

Medical Astrology–Using the birth chart to obtain information about health, illness and wellness. Especially looks at diseases and their causes through horoscope pattern, psychic imbalances and probable timing through planetary transits.

Mundane Astrology–Assesses and forecasts world events, political movements, national occurrences and cultural trends according to the planetary cycles.

Vocational Astrology–Applies the information in a birth chart to the study of career. It reveals the nature of a person’s vocational needs and loves. Because vocational astrology explores an individual’s “inner calling”, it can produce a better vision of career direction and decrease job frustration.

Synastry–The astrology of relationships. Learning how the birth charts of specific people interact to better understand the dynamics of their relationship.

Electional Astrology–The timing of events. Studying transits to learn favorable times to initiate certain events or take action. By its nature, electional astrology also pinpoints the times to wait for a better day.

Karmic Astrology–Emphasizes spiritual evolution in this life, and lives yet to come, based on past life information. Explores karmic history, values and beliefs brought into this life, and life lessons to improve the quality of life now. Some astrologers refer to this application as Esoteric Astrology.

And the above list is only a sampling. There are other applications! As I wrote earlier, the study of astrology is the pursuit of a lifetime–or two.

http://playthepiano.ca: Play the Piano with Heidi Saario.

Music is such a big part of spiritual life, soulful living, and the installation of harmonious and calming tones to the body. Playing the piano, like any musical instrument, will *connect* you to a higher spiritual vibration — to a meditative state in some cases.

I was quite suprised at the low fees on this Web site. If you are seeking piano lessons, I would contact this teacher. And if you have a 3 or 7 in your numerology chart, it’s all the more important to have this sort of music in your life and at your own hands.

Haindl: First Set of Tarot Cards Given To Me

Friday, November 18th, 2005

There’s this Tarot tradition of having your first set of Tarot cards being given to you; however, it’s just a “tradition” and isn’t necessary to being able to read Tarot well.

After over 9 years I have finally received my gift of Tarot. (my mom or sister didn’t even get me a pack and they were readers. lol All things come in its own time)

Recently I offered and created (for free) Mindlogo for a business associate. I then received a set of Tarot cards created by Haindl and two books by Rachel Pollack explaining Haindl‘s Tarot deck imagery.

Indeed, I am happy to receive this gift of Tarot cards as the person recognized me as someone who would appreciate and give them a good home. It’s much more rewarding that it happened to me this way. 🙂

So the moral of the story is: What goes around comes around. 😉 When one gives without thinking of self, it’s without fail that you shall receive. In some time, in some place, and by someone not necessarily the person you originally gave to.

Giving creates abundance.
