Gift & Power
I have a gift but so do you. Being a psychic doesn’t mean I’m any more gifted than you are.
I have power but so do you. Being a psychic doesn’t give me any more power than you have.
I get really irked when I hear psychics say they have “The Power†or “The Giftâ€. We all have powers and gifts. I see these terms being used because there is money in mystery and marketing often requires advertisers to make outlandish claims to get “noticedâ€.
It wouldn’t be a lie to say I have a gift or power because everyone does but the impression it gives to others is false. It’s as if we are saying we are better than you and that our difference means that we are part of an exclusive club that you can’t join.
Basically everyone has the ability to have the psychic gift or power; however, for some it comes more naturally than others. A gift is something that is given to us. The psychic gift has been given to all of us but it’s a matter of time, interest, and lack of fear which will allow you to develop it.
I plead with other psychics NOT to use these phrases anymore as it is (alien)ating and puts us on a pedestal as if we are better than everyone else and we are not!
