Telepathy/Empathy
The Psi Q test profiles a broad range of telepathic and empathic ability. Telepathy can be regarded as the ability to pick up thoughts, while empathy is the ability to pick up emotions through other than normal channels.
Clairvoyance/Remote Viewing
Clairvoyance is the ability to see things beyond the range of the power of vision. Often associated withother abilities, the clairvoyant is frequently capable of “remote viewing”, the ability to see often distant locations in some detail in the mind’s eye.
Psychokinesis
While psychokinesis or telekinesis is probably the rarest psychic ability in its purest form (the ability to move solid objects by applying intention alone), the Psi Q profile measures the degree to which you appear to be able to manifest your will in the physical world. You may find yourself lucky at games of chance for example, or find that things appear to be set up just the way you would want them to be.
Precognition
People with this ability, or precogs are traditionally called seers and have the ability to foresee the future. Some may find their abilities enhanced by tools such as tarot cards or crystal balls (scrying) but many simply find that knowledge of what is to come simply presents itself to them in often surprising ways!
Channeling
Channellers, or mediums, have the ability to communicate with, or act as conduits for the communication of, non-human intelligences or the spirits of the departed. The Psi Q profile takes a broad assessment of this communication and includes in its assessment forms of communication that may be non-verbal.
