Links: Whole Foods, Good Foods — Some of my favourite Foods

Wednesday, December 14th, 2005

ALL of these foods could be considered good for you (unless you have allergies or they don’t work well with your body) OR are better choices from the regular.

Also these foods can induce your body to a euphoric feeling; they have been known to have medicinal properties.

And imagine eating the Soy Cream (which tastes like ice cream) and actually being satisfied after only a half a cup, whereas Ice Cream can make some of us want/eat the whole tub and then some. 🙂

Synchronicity and Connection

Wednesday, December 14th, 2005

Last night my partner and I were coming home but we were in separate areas.

As I was walking, I said to myself, “I should cross the street now” but I really didn’t want to and with the very next step I fell. That fall was odd for a couple of reasons, 1) It didn’t really hurt much (and normally it would) and 2) When I called my partner to tell him to be careful of the streets (black ice) I found out he had just slipped and fell himself.

Coincidence? I don’t think so. He fell as he was “crossing” the road. Moral of the story: Look before you leap and be aware of what the unknown is telling you.

I’m a skeptic too. If I haven’t experienced it, it’s hard to believe. So I set out to experience as much as I can in life and in particular psi stuff.

You know, in the grande scheme of things all I know is that I help people. If at the end of the session a person feels “helped”, I feel like I have done what I was meant to do. Do I know where I get my information from? From an esoteric sense, yes… but from a scientific sense, not quite.

Sure I’m aware that energy can affect what we know and there were successful experiments done about remote viewing and telepathy (which I had and do experience); however, it still isn’t scientifically accepted.

My logical brain says that there is a rational reason as to why what I do works and my idealistic brain accepts that mysticism is lovely and of value. So I approach what I do with a grain of salt with a leap of faith thrown in for good measure. I’m practical and spiritual and I think that makes for a wonderful combination. 🙂

Anyway, I’m exhausted and off to rest.
